About the Journal
International Journal of Business and Psychology (IJBPSY) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal concerned with understanding the human dimensions of business, organizations, and markets. It brings together insights from management and psychology to examine how people think, decide, behave, lead, work, collaborate, and respond to change.
The journal publishes original research, reviews, conceptual work, and Perspectives that advance established conversations or open new ones. Particular emphasis is placed on work that offers a meaningful contribution, engages with important contemporary problems, or challenges assumptions that may no longer adequately explain organizational and business phenomena.
Its scope spans organizational behaviour, human resource management, industrial and organizational psychology, leadership, entrepreneurship, consumer psychology and marketing, employee wellbeing, decision making, innovation, organizational change, and business ethics. Emerging questions surrounding artificial intelligence, digital transformation, new forms of work, and changing relationships between individuals and organizations are especially relevant where they generate broader theoretical or practical insight.
The journal does not privilege a particular methodological tradition. Quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, and conceptual approaches are welcomed when appropriate to the question being addressed and conducted with scholarly rigor.
Beyond conventional research, Perspectives provides space for concise, idea-driven contributions that question prevailing assumptions, engage emerging issues, and stimulate scholarly debate across business and psychology.
